Plan for the appraiser credential you need

Appraisal has a different licensing pathway from real estate sales. Pennsylvania’s current trainee education plan totals 87 classroom hours, including the valuation bias and fair housing component and the trainee/supervisor course.

The appraiser trainee requirements guide breaks down those components and links the Board’s application and supervised-experience resources. Later residential or general certification has additional requirements.

Check the provider and the education component

Use the listing below to check current Elite availability. Before enrolling with any provider, confirm the Pennsylvania course approval, component covered, credit hours and completion requirements.

An individual course does not provide the full qualifying program, a trainee license or a supervisor placement. For courses offered on another provider’s website, check that provider’s access and enrollment terms.
