For Capital Region students

Harrisburg real estate classes, taught live online.

Study Pennsylvania salesperson courses from Harrisburg or the Capital Region through Elite’s scheduled live Zoom lessons. Compare the course route, plan your attendance and research local resources before committing to a purchase.

Compare the format and the full timetable

Capital Region students can encounter classroom, virtual and self-paced offers. The Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS course overview separates those formats. Comparing a label is a start; checking how you attend, ask questions and complete the work is the next step.

Elite's Fundamentals and Practice classes meet live on Zoom. Join from your own learning space in Harrisburg or the Capital Region at the scheduled lesson times. Check how that timetable fits your work and other commitments before choosing a course.

Open the current class schedule and compare every lesson with work, family and other fixed commitments. Times are shown in Eastern Time. Allow preparation time between lessons, and ask about any conflict before enrolling. If a schedule has already started, confirm whether joining is possible.

Match the purchase to your education route

The salesperson pathway explains the two-course route and current individual options. Real Estate Fundamentals introduces foundational concepts; Real Estate Practice connects them with professional transaction work.

Keep prior course records handy if you have studied elsewhere. Check the Pennsylvania licensing requirements guide and ask about the remaining education instead of assuming you need to repeat everything or that every old course remains applicable.

The course and bundle pages show current tuition, dates and availability. Compare what each purchase includes, including materials and the full calendar. Education, licensing examinations, an employing broker and the state application are separate parts of the plan.

Research local funding before making commitments

Students investigating help with costs can check GHAR's Judith H. Reid Memorial Diversity Outreach Scholarship page. It links to the current application and eligibility information. Read the program's own terms and ask its administrator about your circumstances before counting on funding.

This is an external program, not an Elite scholarship or a promise that its funding can pay for Elite courses. Do not assume an award, deadline exception, course eligibility or transfer between providers. If funding affects your choice, obtain confirmation about the specific purchase before paying a deposit or committing to a schedule.

A useful planning sheet records tuition, materials and later licensing costs separately. Leave uncertain assistance marked as unconfirmed. The existing licensing article explains cost components and links to current official sources.

Connect class concepts with a current county resource

Dauphin County's Tax Assessment and Tax Claim page identifies its current Property Info link and notes that the portal moved. It also provides the county's current route when its usual parcel viewer is unavailable. Start from that official department page rather than a bookmark to an old portal.

For a learning exercise, find the current property-information entry point and identify which record fields you can explain from class. Note the source and date, then write down the questions that would require a current record or professional review. An assessment record, a map and a statement about market value serve different purposes.

The exercise is about finding and evaluating information. It does not provide advice about a specific property's taxes, boundaries, ownership or permitted use. Refer those questions to the responsible office and an appropriate professional.

Prepare for participation and the next step

Use the Zoom setup checklist before your first lesson and confirm the current textbook. Check student access early so a sign-in problem does not use up class time.

When interviewing a Capital Region brokerage, ask how new agents are supervised, who reviews early documents and how training fits your available hours. A school enrollment does not create an employing-broker arrangement. Keep that career conversation connected to the official licensing plan.
